Company History

KnowledgePoints® is a company founded and focused on a single purpose: helping children. Education Enhancement Enterprises, Inc. (our legal entity) has been doing business as KnowledgePoints® since June 2003. KnowlegePoints was originally started as a retail-oriented tutoring business. At one point, the Company operated five retail stores in Delaware, Chester and Lancaster Counties. Beginning in 2004, our programming was enhanced to serve students eligible for services under the Federal No Child Left Behind (“NCLB”) Program. As a result, the Company was an approved provider of supplemental education services in the State of Pennsylvania for NCLB Programs as well as other state grant programs.

In 2005 KnowledgePoints also began to provide after school and summer programs as well as other academic programs tailored to meet the needs of school districts and their students. These programs not only included our proven and effective tutoring, but also offered enrichment and recreation activities. Funding for these programs was provided by various Federal (Title I, Title XXI, School Improvement Grants, etc.), State and private funding sources.

In 2014, KnowledgePoints began developing before and after care programs, which are licensed by the PA Department of Human Services (“DHS”), formerly the Department of Public Welfare. These before and after care programs provide the highest quality child care services with an emphasis on academic support and programming. This academic focus clearly sets us apart from others that provide these programs. In addition, we offer a balance of recreation and enrichment activities as well as homework assistance.

With the expansion of our school-based programs as well as our before and after care programs, the Company made the difficult decision to close our retail locations. Our last retail store was closed in October 2016. This has allowed KnowledgePoints to concentrate its efforts on the development and growth of our before and after care programs as well as our other school-based programs.

Overall, KnowledgePoints has helped more than 6,000 students since its inception through its various programs. We have developed, coordinated and implemented successful programs in 24 School Districts and Charter Schools, building an excellent reputation and positive working relationship. KnowledgePoints has served students throughout Pennsylvania including Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery and York Counties.
